Severn Valley Railway Classic Car Day 2014

The Severn Valley classic car day is like no other show I have come across; it's a laid back day with a format of its own. Each of the six stations along the steam railway has classic cars in the car park & on the station concourse, the main station at Kidderminster has the years chosen theme i.e. 1940,s , commercial,  Jaguar etc.
As an entrant you get a discount rail ticket for the day to ride the steam trains and dogs are welcome on the trains so long as they have a ticket.
The trains run about every half hour so you have time to look at all the cars & bikes at each station as well as the trains and rail way memorabilia before boarding again to go to the next station.
The scenery is outstanding with the railway running past the safari park and along the bank of the River Severn. The show is pre booked ticket only and is always over subscribed.
